General
Is playing poker on Ujogo legal?
Yes. Playing at Ujogo is considered equivalent to participating in
a sweepstakes contest from a legal standpoint.
Do I need to register to play at your site?
Yes. Although you can read all of the site’s content, Ujogo does
require each player to be a free member. We use this high-level player
information to better determine how to offer the most desired prizes
and features for our players.
Does it cost me anything to play on Ujogo?
Nothing. Ujogo is completely free. We generate our revenues from our
advertisers and sponsors. Any membership that a player may sign up for is
in no way associated with that player’s ability to enter a game, or get
access to special games. Membership fees are solely for increased
access to data, training tools and the like.
Who is eligible to play and win?
You must be a resident of the United States, excluding Mississippi and Oklahoma, and 18 years or older to
play and win at Ujogo. Please see our Terms and Conditions page for more details.
How do I win?
See our How to Win page for details.
Why does Ujogo ask for my address and Social Security Number?
Your address is required when there is a need to mail you a prize. Your
Social Security Number is required for tax reporting purposes if you
win prizes exceeding $600 in value in a given calendar year.
Where do I find information on upcoming tournaments and promotions?
Information on larger, sponsored tournaments can be found on our Upcoming Events page within our 'Promotions & Prizes' section. For day to day tournament availability, please click on the "Tournaments' tab within the 'Game Registration' page which can be found by simply clicking the flashing "Play Now" button at the top of any Ujogo webpage.
How can I get answers to other questions that are not in the FAQ?
Please feel free to contact us at support@ujogopoker.com
Software and Hardware
Can I play on either a Mac or PC? How about other computing devices?
Absolutely. In fact, you can play on any computer with a browser that
supports Flash 9.0. Flash is a platform-independent application, so your
play is not limited to your home computer. There is no application software to
download, so play anywhere, anytime that you like.
Has AOL browsers been tested at Ujogo? If you don't have the latest version of Flash, our application will not work. To update to the latest free version of Flash, please visit the Adobe website.
No specific testing with the AOL browsers has been done to this point. However, we have noticed that due to some unique features on AOL browsers, players using the embedded AOL browsers often run into issues while playing at our tables. We have found that using a standard Internet browser, like Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer, these issues are not experienced. We will continue to test more with AOL environments.
Why can't I see the entire game application?
Mostly likely, your display settings for your computer might not match
the minimum requirements for our game window. Check to make sure that
your display is set at least to 1024 x 768.
The game application opened, but it's blank. Is this a "Flash" issue?
This very likely means that you have not downloaded the latest version
Adobe's Flash client, version 9.0, which is required to play games on
Ujogo. To update to the latest free version of Flash, please visit the Adobe
website.
The game froze; what should I do?
If the game froze and all other Internet activity is functioning properly,
please try to restart your browser. Your game
information will still be active. If the problem has not been resolved,
or an email has not been received about the issue after 30 minutes
please contact us at support@ujogopoker.com
I'm experiencing heavy lag time; what should I do?
If others in your game are not complaining about similar issues, check
your Internet connectivity speeds from sites like, www.speedtest.com,
try to access our site via a different web browser, or shut down and
open your existing browser. (See our FAQ question on potential browser
specific issues). If none of these efforts help, drop us a note at support@ujogopoker.com
Where can I find out about game cancellation and player disconnection policies?
Please see the Game Cancellation Policy page within the "Support" section.

No.
How do I replenish my "Ujogo Cash"?
Players will be allocated starting Ujogo Cash of $1,000. If at
any time your Ujogo Cash falls below $1,000 in Ujogo Cash, you can replenish your
account up to $1,000 either from within a ring game, or via your My
Account page.
How many tables can I play at and view concurrently? To reduce excessive pre-flop all-in activities, players with an existing line of credit will be limited to $3,000 in Ujogo Cash worth of reloads within a 1-hour period.
Currently, Ujogo allows players to play or view a multiple table at a
time. Over time, Ujogo will be capping this ability to just a few concurrent tables.
Can I play at work if there is a firewall?
Yes, as long as you can use your browser to reach our site, you can
play our game.
How does Ujogo protect honest users from outside "bots"?
We can’t disclose all our methods, but we are serious about making our
site safe and fun for all users, and to that end we strive to ensure a
level of fairness for all players.
What does Ujogo do about those players who constantly go "all in"?
To reduce excessive pre-flop all-in activities, players with an existing line of credit will be limited
to $3,000 in Ujogo Cash worth of reloads within a 1-hour period.
How do I report abuse?
Simply send an email to support@ujogopoker.com.
Please include information on players involved, table game and name and
a short description of the alleged abuse. Note that we have recently added a 'block chat' feature as well. If you would like to ignore another player's chat messages, simply click on that player's avatar, and check the "block chat" box on his profile tab.
What are the rules on table language? Do the rules differ for home games?
In order to create an atmosphere that is safe
and fun for all of our users, Ujogo has blocked certain
profanities. Additionally, abusive behavior and speech is also
not allowed. Although we do not physically monitor every game,
players can report abusive behavior to support@ujogopoker.com.
Prizes and Points
What are Ujogo Points and how are they calculated?
Ujogo Points are the equivalent to what other sites call "Frequent
Player Points". Ujogo will award Ujogo Points based on time spent
playing on the site. Ujogo Points are redeemable for items in the Ujogo
Store as our way of thanking our players for spending time with
us. Players can also win additional Ujogo Points by placing atop
our monthly Ujogo Points leaderboards or winning special jackpots.
What is Ujogo Cash and what can I do with it?
Ujogo Cash is our internal game currency. Ujogo Cash can be accumulated
from Ring Game play as well from Sit N Go and Tournament play. Of
course Tournament players can also win valuable prizes
too. Ujogo Cash is not transferable to any other player or viable as
actual currency at Ujogo. However, those players who earn the most
Ujogo Cash in a given month can win extra Ujogo Points. See our
leader board page for more details.
How do I redeem prizes with Ujogo Points?
Simply navigate through the listed products on the store page. The 'redeem' button will only appear for a given item if you have a sufficient number of Ujogo Points. Simple as that.
How do I receive my prizes?
For those items that can be fulfilled electronically, Ujogo will send
winning players an email with a link to the prize won accompanied by a
special redemption code. For those items that need to be mailed
to our winners, Ujogo will mail those prizes directly to the address
provided by the winning player. Please check your My Account page
to check on the status of any prizes won.
How long does it take to receive my prize?
For those prizes which require manual fulfillment, Ujogo will enter
shipment status information within a player’s My Account page. This
information will be viewable within one business day of the date the
prize is won. We will do our best to ship prizes as quickly as
possible.
How do I request special prizes and/or features?
Simply submit a request to us at support@ujogopoker.com.
The Ujogo team will consider the
submission and, if applicable, try to meet the request.
